▪Speaker of the House Dennis A. O’Brien announces…House of Representatives' Scholarship Program is open to all college-bound high school seniors who plan to attend a Pennsylvania College . This program awards two scholarships per year that are equivalent to the approximate value of one semester's tuition at a State System of Higher Education school. The essay subject is, "The year 2009 marks the bicentennial of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. This great president delivered a transformational speech in Gettysburg .
