The Civil War Roundtable of Gettysburg Adopted Site.

It is the South Guide Station on Emmitsburg Road.

This building, and the surrounding area, provides the first impression visitors arriving from the south of Gettysburg will get after entering the park. Many people, after seeing the first building inside the park, will stop and pick up a park map to get oriented.

Spring Clean Up is May 31, 2008

Cleanup includes picking up litter and debris. Raking leaves and cut grass. Trimming and edging grass along the sidewalk and driveway. Clear stone wall of brush  if neccessary. Restack  stone wall as needed.

Cleanup days are in the spring and fall. The Cleanup is done in conjunction with the National Park Service.
